Parakeets and hospice settling

A little reach out to say that we popped in today to see Jakki and just get the lay of the land.  She is settling into her room overlooking the beautiful gardens of Trinity Hospice with huge trees billowing in the autumn wind.   She mentioned seeing and hearing parakeets yesterday evening and even proudly suggested we check out the size of her en suite between moments of sleepiness.   And Miranda, Jakki's niece, showed her a lovely pic of the cats safely in their new home which was lovingly received by Jakki to know her boys were settling in well.

The family will get updates daily and will pass on regular info as appropriate. Please do just let me know if the email updates are not ideal for you and you would like to come off the list and just check out the blog instead as everyone likes to receive info differently, especially on this type of journey.

The lovely nurse on duty today was thorough in reminding team Jakki that this is a team journey with Jakki at the absolute centre and they will do whatever they can to make the journey as personal, comfortable and peaceful as possible.  And even as the journey progresses, the Jakki or 'Rotter' eye twinkle is still there.......
